ISO 3671:2023 specifies a standardized laboratory method for the determination of volatile matter (predominantly water) in aminoplastic moulding materials by oven drying. The procedure provides a repeatable way to quantify moisture/volatile loss from thermosetting aminoplastic compounds to support quality control, product specification and material characterization.
