ISO 4211-2:2013 specifies a method for the assessment of the resistance to wet heat of all rigid furniture surfaces regardless of materials. It does not apply to leather and textile surfaces.
Abstract
Overview
ISO 4211-2:2013 specifies a laboratory method for assessing the resistance to wet heat of rigid furniture surface finishes (all materials except leather and textiles). The test determines how a finished furniture surface reacts to a heated aluminium block placed onto a damp cloth for a defined period, with results reported using a descriptive numerical rating (1–5). ISO 4211-2:2013 is part of the series on furniture surface-finish testing and is used to verify durability of coatings, paints, laminates and other rigid finishes.
