Overview

This standard details procedures using both transmission and attenuated total reflectance (ATR) infrared spectroscopy. Applicable to rubber materials in raw, vulcanized, and unvulcanized forms, ISO 4650:2026 offers guidelines for interpreting characteristic infrared absorption spectra to distinguish various types and blends of rubbers.
