Overview
ISO 4760:2022 - Laminate flooring - Topical moisture resistance - Assembled joint defines a laboratory to evaluate how a joined, floating laminate flooring assembly resists short-term surface water exposure. The standard measures both (immediate thickness/edge rise after 24 h water exposure) and (after a subsequent 24 h drying), and provides qualitative and quantitative criteria to rate performance. It also covers joint leakage assessment for assembled locking edges.
