Overview
ISO 5548:2004 (IDF 106:2004) defines a photometric method for determining the content of lactose and other soluble carbohydrates in caseins and caseinates. The method is intended for products containing less than 2.0% total soluble carbohydrates and describes sample preparation, reagents, apparatus, calibration and result expression for routine and regulatory testing.
