Abstract
Overview
ISO 5722:2023 specifies a laboratory in fine/advanced ceramics at ambient temperature. The standard defines specimen preparation, test fixtures and apparatus, measurement and recording procedures, creep calculations and required test reporting. It is intended for evaluating time-dependent deformation (creep strain) and creep rupture time of adhesive layers used in ceramic–ceramic, ceramic–metal and ceramic–glass joints.
