ISO 6216:1980 - Shipbuilding, Inland Navigation: Pilot Craft - Classification and Basic Requirements is an international standard that defines classification, design considerations and basic safety and equipment requirements for self‑propelled pilot craft used to transfer pilots to and from merchant ships in closed waters, estuaries and open‑sea roadsteads.
