Overview

ISO 6361-1:2011 defines the technical conditions for inspection and delivery of wrought aluminium and aluminium-alloy sheets, strips and plates for general engineering applications. It applies to flat‑rolled products with a thickness over 0.15 mm up to and including 400 mm. The standard covers ordering, inspection lots, sampling, testing and delivery documentation, but explicitly excludes semi‑finished coiled reroll stock and special applications such as aerospace, can stock or fin stock.
