New symbols should be developed following Annex A and existing symbol databases (ISO 7000, IEC 60417).
Proposed symbols require a short functional description.

Digital displays (Clause 7):

Guidance for adapting symbols into pixelated digital display icons while preserving visual impression (see ISO 80416‑4).
