ISO 7711-2:2011 specifies design, dimensional and performance requirements for used in the dental laboratory to cut dental materials such as metals, ceramics, plastics and gypsum. The standard selects five typical disc shapes with defined dimensions and sets requirements for disc blanks, diamond covering, run‑out, mechanical strength and manufacturer information. This part of complements other parts of (dimensions, grit sizes and colour codes).
