ISO 8118-2:2006 - Textile machinery - Weaving machine temples - Part 2: Full-width temples - defines terms, nomenclature, technical specifications and the designation system for used on weaving machines. The standard sets out the basic definition of a full-width temple (a device that holds cloth to the width as presented by the reed, positioned near the fell) and specifies the parts, dimensions and rod characteristics used across the textile industry. ensures consistent terminology and interchangeability of temple components for manufacturers, suppliers and users of weaving machinery.
