ISO 9202:2026 – Jewellery and precious metals - Fineness of precious metal alloys is an international standard developed by ISO Technical Committee 174. This document establishes a standardized range of fineness values for precious metal alloys, such as gold, platinum, palladium, and silver, used in the jewellery industry. The standard ensures consistency in determining and declaring the fineness of jewellery alloys, facilitating international trade and consumer trust.
