ISO 9203-2:1989 is Part 2 of the ISO 9203 series that standardizes the . Its purpose is to enable accurate, unambiguous referencing and communication of hull structure information within and between organizations (design offices, shipyards, suppliers, classification societies). The part specifies the descriptive data and file content needed to record plates, stiffeners, welded seams and openings so they can be exchanged and processed consistently.
