ISO 9311-3:2005 - Adhesives for thermoplastic piping systems - Part 3: Test method for the determination of resistance to internal pressure - defines a standardized hydrostatic test to assess the ability of adhesive-bonded thermoplastic pipe assemblies to resist internal pressure. • Reporting: Test reports must include references to ISO 9311-3 and normative documents, adhesive and cleaning agent identification, tube/fitting details and dimensions, specimen prep and cure time, conditioning and test conditions, environment (air/water/liquid), applied pressure and duration, and any incidents affecting results.
• Safety: Users must observe laboratory safety practices and applicable national/EU regulations.
