Overview
ISO 9455-11:2017 specifies a qualitative laboratory method for assessing the solubility of flux residues from Type 1 soft‑soldering fluxes in a selected solvent. The test evaluates whether a chosen cleaning solvent will effectively remove residues left after soldering by measuring electrical continuity across a cleaned brass test plate.
