Abstract
Overview
ISO 9863-1:2016/Amd 1:2019 is an important amendment to the international standard for geosynthetics thickness determination at specified pressures. This document focuses on single-layer geosynthetics, providing updated guidance and refined procedures to ensure accurate measurement of material thickness under given pressure conditions. Developed by ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 221, this amendment complements the second edition of published in 2016 and was released in November 2019.
