Overview
ISO 9996:1996 - "Mechanical vibration and shock - Disturbance to human activity and performance - Classification" provides a simple, systematic classification of how mechanical vibration and shock disturb volitional human activity and task performance. It is intended as an aid when developing guidelines for evaluating to mechanical vibration and shock in the frequency range , with the primary aim of preserving unimpaired activity, task performance and safety.
