Overview
ISO/IEC 10918-3:1997/Amd 1:1999 is an important amendment to the international standard for digital compression and coding of continuous-tone still images. Developed by ISO and IEC in collaboration with ITU-T, this amendment introduces , enhancing flexibility and extensibility in image compression standards.
