Abstract
Overview
ISO/IEC 13712-3:1995/Amd 1:1996 is an international standard amendment focused on Information Technology - Remote Operations within the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) framework. This amendment specifically addresses the Remote Operations Service Element (ROSE) protocol specification, introducing practical enhancements for the mapping of ROSE onto the A-UNIT-DATA service as well as defining several built-in operations. It is a critical addendum developed under the joint technical committee ISO/IEC JTC 1, in conjunction with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-T), reinforcing the interoperability and protocol handling in remote operation services across distributed and open systems.
