Abstract
Overview
ISO/IEC 14496-4:2004/Amd 2:2005 is an important amendment to the MPEG-4 standard, focused on conformance testing for audio-visual object coding. This amendment extends the scope to include MPEG-4 conformance extensions for Extensible MPEG-4 Textual Format (XMT) and media nodes. Developed by ISO/IEC Joint Technical Committee JTC 1, Subcommittee SC 29, it ensures interoperability, compatibility, and compliance in multimedia encoding and playback systems.
