Abstract
Overview
ISO/IEC 14496-4:2004/Amd 6:2005 is an amendment to Part 4 (Conformance testing) of the MPEG-4 / ISO/IEC 14496 suite that adds formal Advanced Video Coding (AVC / H.264) conformance tests. It defines how to verify that H.264 (ITU‑T Rec. H.264 | ) video bitstreams and decoders meet the normative requirements of the video coding specification. The amendment relies on electronic test data (bitstream test suites) and the H.264 reference software decoder for repeatable, standardized verification.
