Abstract
Overview
ISO/IEC 14496-4:2004/Amd 9:2006 is Amendment 9 to Part 4 (Conformance testing) of the MPEG-4 / H.264 family. It specifies conformance test requirements for video decoders that implement ITU‑T Rec. H.264 / ISO/IEC 14496-10 AVC Fidelity Range Extensions (FRE). The amendment defines how normative test bitstreams, reference outputs, and test procedures are packaged and used to verify decoder conformance to AVC fidelity range extension features.
