ISO/IEC 18092:2023 - Near Field Communication Interface and Protocol 1 (NFCIP‑1) defines the interface and transport protocol for short‑range NFC communication using inductively coupled devices at a centre frequency of 13.56 MHz. The third edition updates and harmonizes NFCIP‑1 with NFC Forum digital protocol work and introduces support for NFC security features for the Target role.
