Abstract
Overview
ISO/IEC 21000-5:2004/Amd 1:2007 is an amendment to the MPEG‑21 Rights Expression Language (REL) that introduces the MAM (Mobile And optical Media) profile. The amendment adds additional REL extensions (the “Multimedia Extension One”) to support rights and identity constructs tailored for mobile devices and optical‑media ecosystems. It standardizes new XML namespace(s), schema prefixes and several new REL elements and rights that extend the core MPEG‑21 REL for practical DRM, content movement and playlist control scenarios.
