Abstract
Overview
ISO/IEC TR 10000-1:1998 is a Technical Report from ISO/IEC JTC 1 that defines the framework and documentation taxonomy for International Standardized Profiles (ISPs). Published as a type‑3 Technical Report (state-of-the-art material), this fourth edition sets out the general principles and documentation framework for creating, classifying and registering ISPs that specify conforming subsets and combinations of IT base standards. The document is aimed at organizations preparing Draft ISPs and at bodies involved in functional standardization, interoperability and conformance.
