ISO/IEC TR 15044:2000 is a Type‑2 technical report that defines the standardized terminology for the Home Electronic System (HES) and related Home Control Systems (HCS). It provides a common vocabulary for designers, implementers and standards developers working on home automation, networked appliances and residential communication systems.
