Abstract
Overview
ISO/IEC TR 15938-8:2002/Amd 3:2007 is an amendment to the MPEG‑7 Multimedia Content Description Interface (Part 8: Extraction and use of MPEG‑7 descriptions). It adds technologies and usage scenarios for , including new guidance on a descriptor and high‑level content‑based image retrieval (CBIR) features such as region‑of‑interest (ROI) querying. This technical report supplement targets implementers who extract, index and match visual descriptors for large photo collections.
