Abstract
Overview
ISO/IEEE 11073-30200:2004/Amd 1:2015 is an important amendment to the international standard for health informatics, specifically addressing point-of-care (PoC) medical device communication using cable-connected transport profiles. This amendment expands the original ISO/IEEE 11073-30200:2004 standard to extend compatibility and performance, particularly by incorporating IEEE 802.3 100BASE-T Ethernet connectivity. The IEEE and ISO jointly develop and maintain this standard, supporting global interoperability and connectivity of medical devices at the point of care.
