Overview
ISO/TR 11233:2014 - "Space systems - Orbit determination and estimation - Process for describing techniques" is a Technical Report that prescribes a uniform way to describe orbit determination (OD) and orbit estimation techniques. It does not mandate exchange formats or specific numerical algorithms; rather, it defines the information that should accompany orbit data so collaborating satellite owners and operators can understand differences in modelling, propagation, and uncertainty treatment. The report enables interoperable planning and safe operations while allowing implementers to retain proprietary implementation details.
