Specifically, it addresses the wear resistance of materials used in the fabrication of artificial teeth and the veneering of crowns and bridges. This part of the series focuses exclusively on wear resulting from toothbrushing-the mechanical abrasion caused by toothbrush bristles combined with toothpaste-and aims to standardize laboratory testing methods for comparable and reliable results.
