ISO/TR 21186-1:2021 - "Cooperative intelligent transport systems (C‑ITS) - Guidelines on the usage of standards - Part 1: Standardization landscape and releases" - maps the global standards landscape for C‑ITS and defines an approach to group relevant standards into interoperable C‑ITS Releases. The technical report describes how major Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) contribute deliverables, introduces a classification scheme for those deliverables, explains how C‑ITS services are presented and executed, and provides a bibliography of standards with special relevance to C‑ITS.
