ISO/TS 16096:2021 - Reclaimed isobutene‑isoprene (IIR) rubber - Evaluation procedure - defines standardized test methods, materials and processing for assessing reclaimed IIR rubber. The technical specification covers sampling, physical and chemical tests on raw reclaimed IIR, preparation of standard test mixes, curemeter evaluation of vulcanization behavior, and measurement of rheological and mechanical properties (Mooney viscosity, tensile stress‑strain, Shore hardness). This ISO/TS supports consistent quality control and comparative evaluation of reclaimed IIR rubber used in rubber recycling and product formulation.
