ISO/TS 19736:2017 specifies a test method for bonding of polymer teeth to denture base materials. This test method is not designed to prove the properties of polymer teeth and denture base materials.
Abstract
Overview
ISO/TS 19736:2017 describes a standardized used in prosthodontics. The technical specification defines how to produce test specimens, apply a controlled shear load and evaluate the mode of failure (adhesive, cohesive or mixed). It is intended to assess the bonding behaviour along the tooth–base interface; it is not designed to characterize intrinsic material properties of polymer teeth or denture base polymers.
