These days there’s a chance that a commercial vehicle you operate can be used by terrorists: either to deliver explosive devices; to breach perimeters and damage infrastructure; or as a weapon to injure and kill people. There’s even more chance that commercially operated vehicles are used in serious and organized crime, or for other forms of anti-social behaviour. To tackle these threats, PAS 29000:2021 sets out measures that operators of commercial vehicles can use to thwart the malicious use of their vehicles.
