Abstract
1 Scope
This PAS specifies requirements for:
a) consumables used in the collection, preservation and processing of material for forensic analysis;
b) the manufacture of these consumables ; and
c) the assembly of forensic kits.
This PAS specifies further requirements for consumables used in DNA testing in Annex A, which are additional to those given in Clause 3 to Clause 6 . This PAS is not intended to cover technical product specifications for consumables , although it could be used to assist in developing a technical product specification.
