PAS 8820 is applicable to alkali-activated cementitious material that has been developed to fill the gap and encourage the use of AACMs in the construction industry. PAS 8820 is the to specify performance requirements of AACMs and the resulting concretes and to facilitate and encourage their use in construction projects, where appropriate. PAS 8820 specifies the performance requirements for alkali-activated cementitious material comprising aluminosilicate main constituents and an alkali activator.
