Abstract
What is PD CEN/TR 13445-9 - Unfired pressure vessels about?
PD CEN/TR 13445 is a series on unfired pressure vessels. Unfired pressure vessels such as air and water storage tanks are vessels that have not been exposed to burner fire or combustion. PD CEN/TR 13445-9 is a technical report that details the conformance of the EN 13445 series for "Unfired pressure vessels" to ISO 16528-1 "Boilers and pressure vessels – Part 1: Performance requirements". PD CEN/TR 13445-9 applies to vessels of steel construction and the future editions will include spheroidal graphite cast iron and aluminium vessels.
