Abstract
1 Scope This CEN Report addresses security features which protect the issuer and the card holder from fraud. The security features are described in a general way and selection guidelines are provided. This CEN Report is applicable to thin flexible cards as specified in EN 753‑1:1997 and EN 753‑2:1997 .
