PD IEC TR 61289 is a standard that discusses the operation and maintenance of high frequency surgical equipment and high frequency surgical accessories to ensure safe operation and maintenance in surgical applications by developing safety protocols that are in line with the required regulations. PD IEC TR 61289 contains guidelines for medical and nursing personnel regarding the safe and effective operation of high frequency surgical equipment and high frequency surgical accessories (also referred to as hf surgical equipment).
