Abstract
What is PD IEC/TS 62257-9-3 - Interface for microgrid about?
The IEC 62257 series is a European standard that covers various aspects of recommendations for renewable energy and hybrid systems for rural electrification. PD IEC/TS 62257-9-3 is the third part of the IEC 62257 series is a technical specification, that specifies the general requirements for the design and the implementation of the interface equipment within the user’s installation which connects to a microgrid or the generating part of a standalone system. PD IEC/TS 62257-9-3 applies to simplified user interfaces (distribution board) in electrical installations with a maximum power of 500 VA in Decentralized Rural Electrification Systems (DRESs). PD IEC/TS 62257-9-3 applies to interface equipment within the user’s installation, and which connects the user's installation to:
