ISO/TR 23845 discusses ontology-Enhanced Thesaurus (OET) for biomimetics. ISO/TR 23845 layouts prototypes of the Ontology-Enhanced Thesaurus (OET) and the Keyword Explorer interface to OET. Although their design philosophy is described, ISO/TR 23845 focuses on their value and how they work. Ontology is a formal, structured, and explicit description of concepts in a domain of discourse.
