This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of the bulkdensity (tapped) of solid fertilizers, except powder fertilizers. The method is not suitable for materials which contain more than 20 % by mass of particles exceeding 5 mm in diameter.
Abstract
Overview
EN 1237:1995 (adopting , modified) is a CEN standard that specifies procedures for determining the of solid fertilizers (excluding powder fertilizers). The standard defines how to compact a known volume of fertilizer by tapping and calculate tapped bulk density as mass per unit volume (g/cm3). It is not suitable for materials that contain more than of particles larger than 5 mm in diameter. Two complementary methods are covered: a method and a method.
