Overview
EN ISO 10426-2:2003/A1:2005 is an amendment to ISO 10426-2 (Part 2: Testing of well cements) published by CEN/ISO for the petroleum and natural gas industries. Amendment A1 adds a standardized to evaluate how well spacers and preflushes restore a water‑wet condition to surfaces exposed to oil‑ and synthetic‑based drilling fluids - a key factor for achieving reliable cement bonding and well integrity.
