EN ISO 10554:2009 / - Polyamide fibre ropes - Double braid construction specifies requirements for double‑braided polyamide fibre ropes and for higher‑strength (hs) double‑braided ropes, and it gives rules for their designation. The standard defines construction, material requirements, physical properties (linear density and minimum breaking force), marking, manufacture, packaging and limits on strand interchange.
