EN ISO 12241:2022 (Corrected version 2022-11) - titled Thermal insulation for building equipment and industrial installations - Calculation rules - defines standardized calculation methods for heat-transfer-related properties of building equipment and industrial installations. Prepared by ISO/TC 163 in collaboration with CEN/TC 89, this third edition supersedes EN ISO 12241:2008. The standard focuses predominantly on steady‑state conditions and includes a simplified approach for the treatment of thermal bridges.
