EN ISO 14744-1:2008 (ISO 14744-1:2008) specifies the principles and acceptance conditions for the acceptance inspection of electron beam welding machines, preferably when first installed at the user’s premises. It sets out the tests, limits and reporting requirements that demonstrate an electron beam welding (EBW) machine can deliver reproducible, high‑quality welds under defined settings.
