Diese Internationale Norm legt die Anforderungen an die Konstruktion, Funktionsmerkmale und die Herstellung von Membranventilen aus Thermoplasten zum Absperren und Regeln fest sowie deren Anschluss an das Rohrleitungssystem, Gehäusewerkstoffe und Druck/Temperatur-Zuordnungen zwischen - 40 °C und + 120 °C, für eine Lebensdauer von 25 Jahren. Sie legt auch die entsprechenden Prüfungen fest. Diese Internationale Norm gilt für hand- und kraftbetätigte Armaturen, die in industrielle Rohrleitungssysteme eingebaut werden, unabhängig vom Einsatzbereich und dem zu befördernden Medium. ANMERKUNG 1 Industrielle Rohrleitungssysteme umfassen auch Rohrleitungen für Wasserversorgung für allgemeine Zwecke, Entwässerung und Entsorgung.
