Abstract
Overview
SIST EN ISO 17130:2021 is an internationally recognized standard specifying a reliable method to determine the dimensional change, or shrinkage, of leather resulting from ageing. Established by CEN and ISO in collaboration with the International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies (IULTCS), this standard applies to all categories of leather. It replaces the previous 2013 version, enhancing the testing procedure for more precise and consistent results in assessing leather dimensional stability after exposure to ageing conditions.
