This document specifies the methods of energy consumption measurement for the following type of industrial trucks as defined in ISO 5053-1: — stacking high-lift straddle carrier (hereafter referred to as straddle carrier), as defined in ISO 5053-1:2020, 3.19.

EN ISO 23308-6:2025 - Energy efficiency of industrial trucks - Test methods - Part 6: Container straddle carrier (ISO 23308-6:2025) specifies standardized methods for measuring the energy consumption of stacking high-lift straddle carriers. Prepared by ISO/TC 110 in cooperation with CEN, this test-method standard enables consistent evaluation of energy efficiency for container straddle carriers used in ports and intermodal yards.
