Overview
EN ISO 2440:2025 - Flexible and rigid cellular polymeric materials - Accelerated ageing tests () specifies laboratory procedures to simulate naturally occurring degradation mechanisms (for example and ) for flexible and rigid cellular polymeric materials. The standard provides controlled (dry heat and humidity ageing) and guidance for measuring changes in physical properties of foams and cellular polymers before and after treatment. This edition (2025) supersedes EN and was prepared by ISO/TC 45 in collaboration with CEN/TC 249.
